Meet Heidi
Heidi Cotton is a top Real Estate Agent in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, representing exceptional properties with personalized, white-glove service. Heidi moved to Los Angeles to be a movie star.
She went through the Groundlings School and Improv Olympic West, was in countless plays and shows, and had some exciting moments doing voice-overs for TV. She moved into Public Relations where she crafted press and promotion for political candidates and NGOs.
Then she worked in advertising creating media campaigns for corporate clients, went to school to become a television writer, and was an assistant to a literary agent. That’s where she learned to anticipate needs, manage colorful personalities, and duck-flying scripts. Heidi’s transition to real estate came after learning following a year of chemotherapy and baldness that she was in remission from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
She chose real estate because she’s always had a passion for houses and working with people on a personal basis. She has joyously found her bailiwick in this wonderful business. Heidi is a native New Yorker who grew up in Scarsdale and attended Riverdale Country School, where she was a three-letter varsity athlete. She earned a B.S., from Northwestern University’s School of Speech.
Heidi is a skilled navigator and negotiator of the home buying and selling process. Her integrity, market knowledge, and aplomb earn her clients’ loyalty and she often finds herself becoming the go-to for multiple generations within a family. She has deep gratitude for her clients and marvels at the trust they repeatedly place in her. She understands it is a privilege to work on each and every deal.
Heidi serves on the Council of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and the Public Policy Committee for the American Jewish Committee of Los Angeles. She was an Iowa field coordinator for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign and is an active supporter of the Tri-State Maxed out Women PAC.
